Data sovereignty is the concept that information
which has been converted and stored in binary digital form is subject to the laws of the country in which it is located. The concept of data sovereignty is closely linked with data security, cloud computing and technological sovereignty. Many countries have passed cyber laws to prevent the cyber threats.Recently snowden revelations exposed the vulnerability of cyber data and its vigilance
by other countries. To counter this and to safeguard the data originated in a country data sovereignty term was coined.
