· Soon, app for info on tourism sites in Jhalawar
- Jhalawar district administration will soon launch the ‘Smart Tourism Mobile App’ named ‘Lezgo’— which has been developed by Sohamsaa Systems Private Limited. The app will give complete information about the tourist site once you reach it.
- Information ranging from details about cities, places and attractions, text with pictures and cultural stories, audio streams, interactive fun and other features will be displayed on the smartphone without any charges.
- LeZgo smart tourism solution has been installed in Ajmer, Pushkar, Bharatpur, Dholpur and Barmer in the last six month. “Soon trivia features, loyalty points, travel bookings on flights, trains, buses and cabs will also be available on the app.
- Glocal Healthcare with Rajasthan government to serve rural poor
- Kolkata-headquartered Glocal Healthcare Services is likely to ‘take smart care to rural areas’ by establishing 5,000 odd telemedicine centres across the country in the coming two years.
- The project surfaced early in the month of May with a first of its kind enterprise being taken up by the government of Rajasthan in association with Glocal Healthcare.
- The two parties jointly intend to establish one hundred telemedicine centres across 31 district hospitals, 19 sub-division hospitals, 6 satellite hospitals and 44 community health centres in the state.
- These mentioned centres will be linked to a central hub of doctors for consultation with the team of on-field healthcare workers armed to offer patient care at any time of requirement.

- Liu Xiaobo, Chinese dissident who won Nobel prize, dies.
- Nobel Peace Prize laureate Liu Xiaobo, China’s most prominent political prisoner, died on Thursday at a hospital in the country’s northeast, officials said. He was 61.
- Chinese literary critic, writer, human rights activist who called for political reforms and end of communist single-party rule. He is also known for his role in 1989 Tiananmen Square protests in Beijing.
- Liu is the third person to have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize while in prison or detention, after Germany’s Carl von Ossietzky (1935) and Burma’s Aung San Suu Kyi (1991).

- The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDA) has notified new rules to protect policyholder’s interest.
