CM Jagan to launch Jagananna Suraksha scheme across 15,004 village/ward secretariats

Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would launch the month-long Jagananna Suraksha programme across 15,004 village / ward secretariats. He would do this online from the CMs Camp Office in Tadepalli.

The chief minister is keen that no eligible beneficiary is left behind in availing the benefits of his governments welfare schemes. In this context, he started the flagship programme Jagananna Suraksha to redress the grievances in this connection. He would be taking Jaganannaku Chebudam to the next level by covering each house in every village.

Officials said the Jagananna Suraksha teams consisting of volunteers, staff of V/W secretariats, public representatives and enthusiasts admiring Jagan Reddy and his government would start house visits from June 24.

It also provides invaluable insights into theadvanced societal and religious practices of the Maya civilization, known for itssophisticated mathematical calendars.

The Maya are an indigenous people of Mexico and Central America. Originating in the Yucatn, they rose to prominence around A.D. 250 inpresent-day southern Mexico, Guatemala, northern Belize and western Honduras.

Therise of the Maya began about 250 CE, and what is known to archaeologists as the Classic Period of Mayan culture lasted until about 900 CE.
